Montblanc's Presence is a warm, spiced eau de toilette that leans toward the gourmand and woody side of the fragrance spectrum. Launched in 2001 and created in France, it has a rich, enveloping character that its name suggests.
The opening is bright, with a citrus lift that softens into spice. Cinnamon sits at the centre of the character, giving the scent a dry, sweet edge, while a fruity, slightly green heart rounds it out and keeps the spice from feeling harsh.
